Die Elida 3 ist ein Snipa, ein Bootstyp, der seinen Ursprung in den geklinkerten Fischerbooten der Wikinger hat.

The much-loved Elida at the Zijlzicht marina in Leiden.


Gebaut in 1946, hat die Elida eine kleine geschlossene Kajüte auf 7 x 2.5 Meter.

Built in 1946, this beauty is seven meters long and two-and-a-half wide.


Glänzend wie eine polierte Nussschale, und nicht ganz pflegeleicht.

Like a polished, glowing nutshell, it was left uncovered sometimes. The wood has to breathe, we guess.
