Antiquity lives – A like Acheloos

Acheloos ist ein Fluss in Griechenland und gleichzeitig der Name des Gottes, der diesen Fluss beherrscht. Jeder Fluss in Griechenland hatte einst seinen eigenen Gott, rund 3000 waren es! Ihrem Element gemäss konnten sie ihre Gestalt beliebig verändern. Acheloos war der grösste und älteste all dieser Flussgötter und der Inbegriff für Süsswasser überhaupt. Wir finden: ein passender Name für ein Boot.
