Auf und Davon
Aila jumps ship!

Ich erkunde für ein paar Tage südlichere Gewässer; zuerst während eines Zwischenstopps den Zürisee, danach die kroatische Küste! :-) In der Schweiz ist das Wetter herrlich, der See blau und die Berge weiss.

Best Mate Aila is joining her mother on a mission to explore possible moorings for Plan B on the Dalmatian coast. Well, not really, but they are taking a cruise together, from Split to Dubrovnik. Of course, the first step for Aila was flying to Zurich, where she encountered this bit of heartfelt agitprop.  

Während eines Ausflugs mit meiner Mama haben wir eine Panne, die dann aber dank dem rasanten Einsatz des Herrn Calistri von der Kreisel-Garage schnell behoben ist. Im ersten Moment stinkt es uns aber doch ganz gewaltig; auch Xavie - Hund des Jahres 2017 - findet: Scheisse!

Cars have grown pretty reliable but they can have their moments. The quick trip to Waldshut, just across the border in Germany, was cancelled in favor of a walk along blooming fields of rapeseed.
Statt einem Ausflug ins schöne Städtchen Waldshut geht's dann halt ins Rapsfeld, was zumindest farblich ein absoluter Erfolg ist.
Later, dinner with Rolf, the other stay-at-home captain.
Meanwhile here in Gent I'll just have to content myself with stimulating cityscapes like this one.
So we'll be posting our separate impressions of new places for the next week or so. I'll end this one with a better class of bike box here in Gent.
