Blick in die Zukunft
Three wise men

Nach Monaten des Stillstands scheint es endlich weiter zu gehen. Hier werfen Dirk, Chef der Duivendijk-Werft, und ein Herr von Vetus, dem Motorenlieferanten, ein Blick in unseren Motorenraum. Knackpunkt ist die Verbindung zwischen unseren alten Z-Antrieben und den neuen Motoren. Aber - für einmal kein Problem, versichert man uns. In ein paar Tagen werden die alten Motoren ausgebaut, und in den nächsten zwei, drei Wochen werden die neuen eingebaut. Wer weiss, vielleicht begeben wir uns diesses Jahr ja doch noch auf grosse Fahrt!

Well, two wise men and me. That's Dirk in the blue tee shirt, master of the shipyard, and a guy from Vetus, the engine supplier. He came to have a look at the link-up between our engines and outdrives, the outboard transmission to the propellers. Good news: the Vetus engines can be installed with our drives! The old engines come out in a day or two and then, over the next week or two, the new engines will be installed. We may yet go sailing this year!!!
