Auch wir spüren den Frühling. Wir haben die Vierbeiner für ein paar Tage zu Marcel ins Ferienlager gegeben und die Plan B entrümpelt, geputzt und gemalt.
Rule 1: Don't paint a boat with two dogs onboard. We must have read that on the Internet somewhere. And it's true. So we sent our hounds ashore for two nights with Marcel while we coated Plan B's interior with RAL 9001 High Gloss. Here, we squeeze into the bathroom for a 'selves-sie.'
Nachdem wir den Bläschenplastik von den Fenstern entfernt haben, sehen wir nun wieder glasklar. Interessant: ohne den Plastik ist es im Boot merklich kühler. Auch wenn wir bereits Frühlingsgefühle haben, sind die Temperaturen hier doch noch recht frisch.
It's great to refresh the cabins and we had perfect weather for painting. While we were at it, in the spirit of giving winter the boot, we stripped the bubble wrap from the windows and let the sun shine in. This insulation worked well for us. Without it, we note a clear drop in temperatures inside.
Wenn die Sonne scheint, ist es tagsüber immerhin warm genug, um draussen ein schnelles Mittagessen zu geniessen. Zum Glück, denn die Plan B ist während ein paar Tagen jeweils nur partiell bewohnbar.

Während die Farbe in der Kabine trocknet, schlafen wir in der Küche. Nach zwei Tagen ist es geschafft. Das Leben auf der Plan B nimmt wieder seinen gewohnten Gang.
While the paint dried forward, in the cabin, we slept in the galley. The next day, we painted that area and at night returned to our usual bed, forward.
