In Brugge
Bruges reunion

Plan B im Hafen Flandria in Brugge, wo wir darauf warten, dass der Volvo-Penta-Mann in Nieuwpoort Zeit hat für unseren (immer noch) defekten Trimmsensor.

Here we sit in Flandria harbor, Bruges, waiting until the Volvo Penta rep in Nieuwpoort is ready to install another trim sensor. Could be worse. 
Zum Glück haben wir flexible Freunde! Mary Jane und John aus Toronto wollten uns eigentlich in Namur treffen, aber die Trimmsensorgeschichte hat diesen Plan zunichte gemacht. Also buchen sie kurzerhand um und besuchen uns in Brugge. Sie wohnen im Barge Hotel gleich um die Ecke; das ist John, der da aus dem Fenster der Eignerkabine winkt.

Now who's that peeking out of the Capitain's Cabin on the Hotel de Barge, just around the corner from Plan B? Why, it's our old friend Johnny Toronto! And it's not a coincidence, either. We had planned to meet up with John and Mary Jane in Namur but the trim sensor story made that impossible.
MJ und J sind auf dem Weg ins niederländische Friesland. Wie auf unserer gemeinsamen Reise vor zwei Jahren, haben sie dort für zwei Wochen ein Boot gemietet.

We're so happy they could change their plans and visit us in Bruges before they head up to Friesland, where they're renting a boat for a couple of weeks. Two years ago, we joined them on a boating tour in Friesland and now they're back for more!
Wir freuen uns, ihnen Brugge zu zeigen. Abends, wenn die Tagestouristen abgezogen sind, kann man die Stadt richtig geniessen.

We enjoyed showing them around the open-air museum that is Bruges.
