Geertruidenberg


Ankunft in Geertruidenberg; ob das Ding da im Fluss Kunst ist, oder einem Zweck dient, ist unklar.

Geertruidenberg - oder G’berg, wie die Einheimischen sagen - ist ein mittelalterliches Städtchen mit schönen alten Häusern.

Auf dem Marktplatz ist allerdings auch die Moderne nicht zu übersehen.

*Correction: This cooling tower is for a coal-fired electricity plant, not a nuclear plant. The runoff from the plant was killing the fish so they built this massive cooling tower.


Am Montag ist Putztag. Roy widmet sich der Aussenseite der Plan B und ist nach vier Stunden Schwerstarbeit entsprechend geschafft.

Begegnung in der Hundefreilaufzone: Pippo trifft auf eine sechs Monate alte Boxer-Labrador-Hündin; ein Labraboxer? Ein Boxerdor?

One of the local canines gets into the act with Aila. She’s a Boxer-Lab mix. A Boxerdor? One of those enthusiastic dogs who greets you with a body check.
