Nachdem wir heute ausgeschlafen haben – manche etwas länger als andere – erkunden wir nach dem Frühstück weiter die Stadt.
The photo's not quite in focus but then neither was John, who gamely stayed awake well into the evening of his first day on this side of the Atlantic. But when sleep came, it was total.
Laut Johns Smartwatch legen wir dabei insgesamt 7.5 km zurück.

... und zwischendurch legen wir auch mal eine Rast ein.

Rechtzeitig zum Borrel – dem Apero, der um fünf Uhr beginnen sollte – bringt Marcel die Hunde von ihrem Spaziergang zurück an Bord.
Our much-appreciated dog-sitter, Marcel, came onboard with the dogs in the late afternoon, just in time for Borrel, the Dutch national cocktail hour, which seemingly everyone observes. And when in Rome, we too have managed to squeeze this ritual into our busy days. And John and Marcel got along just fine.
